Parkovo case study: a parking finder app that guides drivers to a spot and back to their car
Parkovo is a car parking finder app for everyday drivers. It shows garages and street parking on a live map, predicts which spots are most likely to be free, navigates drivers there and remembers where they parked. WebSeoWiz Tech designed and built the app, which is live on Google Play.
Parkovo case study: what needed to change
Drivers waste time and fuel circling the block looking for parking, then forget where they left the car in a busy mall, multi-level garage or unfamiliar street.
Parkovo needed to answer three questions in seconds: where can I park, how do I get there, and where is my car now, in an app simple enough to use on the go.
How we built it
We designed a map-first app. Drivers see garages and street parking around them or near their destination, compare price and distance, and filter by radius (1 to 15 km), parking type, price and amenities. Each location shows an availability score from Parkovo’s predictive algorithm.
One tap starts turn-by-turn navigation to the chosen spot. On arrival, the driver starts a parking session that tracks time parked and estimated cost, and Find My Car gives directions back to the vehicle. Sign-in uses an email code or Google, and drivers can report whether a spot is available, full or closed.
